On Tuesday 19 October, the presentation of Team Zaanlander took place in IJsstadion Thialf in Heerenveen. The team, consisting of long track and marathon skaters, presented itself to the public and talked about the goals and ambitions for the coming skating season. New team members Melissa Wijfje, Ids Bouma and Tjerk de Boer were introduced and teammates Irene Schouten and Jorrit Bergsma, among others, talked about their personal goals.
Effective Monday, November the 1st, 2021, Royal A-ware will acquire the milk powder activities in Aalter (Belgium) from FrieslandCampina. The sale was announced last December. The 40 employees working in Aalter will join Royal A-ware.
Friesblond Oud & Friesblond Jong Belegen have both been awarded the Superior Taste Award with 2 stars by the International Taste Institute! Both cheeses scored high in the category of remarkable taste and texture. Friesblond Oud received a score of 86.3%. Friesblond Jong Belegen scored 80.2%. Something to be very proud of!
