Royal A-ware completes acquisition of milk powder activities of FrieslandCampina in Aalter (Belgium)

Effective Monday, November the 1st, 2021, Royal A-ware will acquire the milk powder activities in Aalter (Belgium) from FrieslandCampina. The sale was announced last December. The 40 employees working in Aalter will join Royal A-ware.

The acquisition fits in with Royal A-ware's strategy of serving customers with the broadest possible product portfolio. The Dutch family-owned company wants to invest in the factory to be able to respond to customer demand as effectively as possible. "The milk powders from Aalter are known for their high quality, the employees have a lot of knowledge and experience in making powders and Aalter is located in an area with excellent availability of high-quality milk. Since July, we have been working with a large number of dairy farmers in Flanders to their satisfaction." Thus says Jan Anker, CEO of Royal A-ware.
