The international family-owned company Royal A-ware is further expanding its operations and introducing a new division focused on the out-of-home food market. The new division named A-ware @Foodservice will offer dairy and other food products to hospitality and catering companies, among others.
The emission targets set by Royal A-ware in 2023 have been approved by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). This confirms that the targets comply with and contribute to the Paris climate agreement. Royal A-ware is the first Dutch family-run dairy company whose emission targets have been scientifically and independently assessed. The approval is not only an important confirmation for the dairy producer, but also for the customers A-ware supplies worldwide.
Royal A-ware Food Group is planning to acquire Belgian family concern The Dairy Food Group. This includes the BMC (Belgian Milk Company) daily milk collection round as well as the companies Eurodesserts, Limelco, Incopack and Incorock. The proposed acquisition was reported to the European Commission on July 9, 2024.
At Royal A-ware, we think in terms of generations rather than years. We aim for long-term partnerships in order to make our supply chains ever more efficient and sustainable. We like to build our future with strategic partners who share the same ambitions. This video shows how our partnership with Fonterra works.
At Royal A-ware, we prefer dairy products with the highest possible nutritional value and the lowest possible impact on humans, animals and the environment. We are constantly striving to make our supply chains more sustainable. And so we are working with our dairy farmers towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions. One way to reduce greenhouse gases is by capturing carbon in the soil. This video shows you how this is done, and why we need to look after our beautiful meadows!
